Air Supremacy Over Elkhart - Saturday, third Day of three

14 Sep 2013*

These

* This is the third of three pages of images from the three day event.

Technical stuff: These images were taken with Nikon D600 and D7100 camera bodies in conjunction with a variety of lenses. The long lenses used for the flying photos are either a Nikkor f5.5 80-400 VR or a Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 VRII. All of my long lenses are Nikon FX compatible (the D600 is FX, the D7100 is DX). Both camera bodies are about 25 Megapixel. Other lenses include normal range zooms and a 10.5mm fisheye for fun. The images displayed here are less than 1 Megapixel. This stuff is HEAVY and tiring to use, especially over a three day span. Symptoms of long days include blisters, calluses, sore feet and an aching back. The pictures are the reward.

Reprints will be available. These will be much more resolute that what is displayed on this website. I am currently investigating several avenues for providing prints. The cost will not be outrageous (not like a wedding) but will include some compensation for my time to provide them. Feel free to contact me via email with questions or comments. I’ll be building an order page in the near future with a more structured pricing arrangement and a Paypal link to expedite ordering.

Thanks for visiting my page. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed taking them.

This is the balance of the three days of imaging at Elkhart. I hope you folks enjoy the pictures at least as much as I enjoyed watching your wonderful creations fly! Thanks for a memorable time... Mike
